Cultural Living, Glorious Beaches, Entertainment for All Ages in Paphos Cyprus ..

Paphos Castle

Paphos Cyprus is a cultural, historical, countryside area that is located on the south-western end of Cyprus. I mention this specific area because of its popularity, specifically with British families and Northern Europeans.

One of the main attractions to this beach haven is its older inland town called Paphos Town...

See Related Article on The Most Beautiful and Best Cyprus Beaches Paphos Town is a hill town with an obvious "atmosphere". The name is not just from the tourists or visitors but the locals themselves have a pleasant, welcoming and carefree attitude.

Aphrodite Rock Paphos Cyprus

Another part of Paphos Cyprus is a harbor area called Kato Pafos. It is located on a lovely tranquil seafront... The Holidays in Paphos are featured around the cafes and tavernas lined in the fishing harbor.

They have the usual arts and crafts and hand-made souvenir shops for browsing. For entertainment enthusiasts there is an array of live music in the tavernas .. local pubs, clubs and discos, all of which are ideally located on the beach-front.

Paphos

There are four glorious beaches in the vicinity of Paphos. The most popular beach is Coral Bay.

Visitors usually frequent Plaz Beach on the south side with Coral Bay on the north. I must mention the lovely picturesque town of Polis and the resort of Latchi just to the north of Paphos Cyprus.

This area has a tranquil boat harbor and a range of water sports to choose from: diving, fishing, boat renting, parasailing and of course jetskiing for the high-adrenaline visitors.

(Try to avoid walking long distances, during the sweltering July and August temperatures)
