Limassol Shopping Mall, 150 Retail Outfits, Restaurants and Ice-Skating Rink...

Limassol Shopping Mall opened its doors on Saturday, May 30 2009. Limassol's latest shopping experience, certainly lived up to its expectations and offers shoppers a varied mix of shopping and entertainment options under one roof.
The entertainment and promotion programs at the mall include ice-skating exhibitions and professional coaching, live music, talent contests, art exhibitions, toy building workshops and kid- fun activities.
It was announced by the Limassol Shopping Mall Marketing Department on June 12th, 2009 that the title of the mall has been renamed, it was called Tiffany Mall, it is now named My Mall.

Built on an expansive area of 204,000 sq. metres, the "convenience" shopping mall is the largest retail centre in Cyprus, boasting around 150 exciting and popular retail outfits and service tenants.
It may come at a time when consumers are not too keen to spend but by creating over 1,000 new jobs, and having been built at a cost close to Euros 100 million, Tiffany is considered a major retailing investment expected to generate a significant return.

Finance Minister Charilaos Stavrakis expressed his satisfaction with the Limassol Shopping mall venture and highlighted that investments of this nature are crucial to the Cypriot economy, especially during a time of financial struggle.
He added that the state fully supported foreign investment in Cyprus and praised the new project for increasing competitiveness on the island, which would benefit consumers through lower prices and better products and services.
The mall's watchword is convenience and gives shoppers a memorable experience by offering an extensive range of facilities. In its modern designed and spacious architecture there are restaurants, fast food outlets and cafes with an accommodating parking area with a facility for 1600 vehicles. A mini-carnival is located in the parking lot with outdoor rides and games for kiddies & adults.

As stated by Tiffany Ltd. Marketing Manager, Mr. Demetris Krikellis "there will be approximately total 150 stores operating, offering fashion shops and more international renowned brands".

Firmly believing that tourists represent a big growth opportunity, My Mall schedules buses and shopping trips for international shoppers from local hotels and other designated pick-up points.
This is currently active, a brochure is available from the information desk at the mall. It includes departure and arrival times, hotels and pick-up points.
A VAT refund office will also be available for tourists to claim back tax on goods purchased in the stores. Upon opening, the Limassol Shopping Mall is expected to operate within normal shop hours with a view of extending the opening hours once the centre develops into a tourist attraction.
Inside the mall, customers will be able to enjoy shops devoted to clothing, and fashion with a number of new brand name stores opening on the island for the very first time.
